[dreamINTERVIEW#3] Minkyu, 7, London “I want to become a LEGO designer!”

“My dream is to become a LEGO designer”

Dreamer: Minkyu, 7, Korean, Primary School student (year3)

Date: 4 June 2011

Location: London

Minkyu is the son of my Korean friend Jinhee who is doing a master’s degree in Kingston University.

When I ran into Jinhee at a casual dinner with my readers in London, I knew we would be great friends being charmed by her kindhearted personality.

Once she invited me to her house for delicious Korean dinner, I got to meet her son, Minkyu.

Like mother, like son, he was such a sweetheart with mature personality.  He immediately became the youngest real friend  of mine 🙂

As an avid reader, he’s shockingly smart and mature. I mean, what kind of 7 year-old-kid would ask me “guess what the value of Coca Cola brand?” lol…

Like other children, he loves playing LEGO. But he does have got an extraordinary passion for LEGO.

He has proudly showed me the LEGO fort he created with intricate details like  helicopters and all sorts of equipments built in.

His dreams often change by years, but the one remains for long is to become a LEGO designer.

I can’t wait to see his creative LEGO designs. He will be a hero for all the LEGO fans around the world!
